Our Recycled Bench for the MAST School community
WHO WE ARE
"This special project, Caps2bench began in the spring of 2024.
Born in France but raised in United States, our family has always been big supporters of recycling and always has been. 20 years ago, our grand mother recycled caps and lids with the aim of transforming them into wheelchairs for the disabled.
Wishing to continue our recycling heritage, my sister and I decided to pass on our knowledge and communicate with our community on this subject and transform these caps this time into a bench, as a donation for our community."
AMANDINE PARAN, Senoir at MAST Academy High School
"Plastic pollution is an incredibly large issue with the increase of plastic consumption; although plastic products are convenient and easy, they reap significant harmful effects on our planet — from millions of tons of plastic found in our oceans and other waterways each year, microplastics infesting our food products."
CHARLOTTE PARAN, Sophomore at MAST Academy High School
We need your help to make our earth a better place to leave and let a beautiful future for the next generations!
